Vang, Oceana

Nyob Zoo! Hello my name is Oceana Vang and I started workingFarnsworth Aerospace Lower! I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education at St. Cloud State University in 2023. For my student teaching, I co-taught here at Farnsworth Lower for a whole year so I got a head start on meeting staff and students. I was lucky enough to join the team and work alongside many great educators during the 2023-24 school year as a 1st grade teacher. I will be teaching 1st grade again!  

 

A little bit about me outside of being a teacher: 

-I am a 2nd gen. Hmong American 

-I love being around my friends and family <3  

-I LOVE kpop (Korean pop music) especially the group BTS 

-I also love Hello Kitty and anything Sanrio themed  

 

My love for teaching is continuing to grow as I meet more students and families. This is a great community and I hope to learn more! It is a pleasure to work with your students and I am looking forward to the upcoming school year.
