Ms. Kia Thor

Hello! My name is Kia Thor. I am one of the 4th grade teachers. This will be my 21st year teaching in St. Paul Public Schools District. I have taught grades K- 4th in St. Paul. I am so excited about this school year and hope to make it the BEST one yet! I absolutely love my job because I enjoy working with students.

I am married and have 6 children ages 25, 23, 21, 18, 17 and 14. I also have a dog named Tobi. He is 6 years old. We love going for walks in the parks and lakes, baking goodies, watching movies and working in our yard. During my free time, I enjoy reading children’s books, cooking, sitting in my backyard enjoying nature and listening to music.

I graduated from Harding High School and received my Bachelor’s and Master’s from the University of Minnesota.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with exploring, creating, and gaining knowledge.
