A Little About Me:

• I am a 2010 graduate from the University of Minnesota and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Social Studies.
• I have been working for Saint Paul Public Schools since 2012. I've taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade prior to becoming the Aerospace Coordinator at Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-4.

• I live in Saint Paul with my family. We love walking our dog, Bazzle throughout the parks and trails around Minnesota.  I have two young children at home. They are my world! 
• During my free time I like to hike, travel, kayak, paint, try new restaurants, attend the St. Paul Farmer's Market, cook, spend time with family and friends, listen to live music and attend comedy shows.

My Duties:

 

   - Coordinate our field trips, extended learning field trips, guest speakers and family nights

   - Teach flight simulators to our 4th grade students, while making real-world connections

   - Work on our Aerospace/STEM 

curriculum for each grade level

- Collaborate with our Aerospace/STEM and Science Specialist on their curriculum

   - Co-teach STEAM lessons in classrooms

   - Establish partnerships within our community and partnering schools

   - Write grants for our program
