Staff Profile

Greetings Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-4 Families!

My name is Amanda Erickson and I am excited to partner with students and families.

Education and Teaching

I started teaching in 2007 and I joined Saint Paul Public Schools in 2012. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, First, Second and Inquiry Specialists (K-3 Social Studies and Science).  I have been teaching Visual Arts since 2023. I received my teaching degree and Masters from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Home Life

My husband and I have two children.  As a family we love to be outside, read books, hang with friends and recharge together. We have a cat named Habanero and a dog named Gordy.

Hopes and Dreams

A strong family-school partnership is key to a child’s success. My goal is to support the whole student through fun art processes and a strong classroom community. I welcome your feedback and communication so we can work together to give your child the best school experience possible!
