At Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-4 Elementary School, our Aerospace/STEM focus is included in our curriculum throughout the school year, all while still learning the SPPS adopted curriculum in literacy and math.

Farnsworth is a magical place. Every child is challenged to reach for the stars. Our families, staff, and community embrace our aerospace theme and use it to inspire our young students to learn about our world. Every day is a new adventure!

At Farnsworth – “The Home of Future Leaders” – aerospace is infused into our curriculum.
Our program engages a child’s imagination with the exciting endeavor of flight.
4th Grade students at Farnsworth fly in our state-of-the-art flight simulators. Students make real-world connections while flying with certain challenges they are given.
Families are encouraged to learn together through STEAM family nights, events and overnight field trips with their child.
Our teachers use the Science of Reading approach to help students build a strong literacy foundation through explicit phonics instruction, word recognition and language comprehension.
